2015
In 2015, Panteras built “Alebrije”, a robot capable of manipulate and stack boxes. Alebrije competed in the Mexico City regional tournament, where he won the Winning Alliance and the Chairman´s Award. Also Carlos Martínez, mentor of the team since 2007 and Engineer at General Motors México, was awarded the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award in the Mexico City tournament.
During off-season the team started to assist Epic Queen with their Code Party´s. During this events the team teach little kids how to code and introduce them to STEM.
This year was also the first for our F1 in Schools team, Panteras Racing, which are the first national mexican champions
