In 2013, Panteras built the ‘Tulum’ robot, with the ability of throwing frisbees and hang of a pyramid. Tulum participated in Dallas’ Regional. where it ended as a finalist of the tournament and won the Engineering Inspiration Award.
In the world’s championship, Panteras received the first Media and Technology Innovation Award, sponsored by Comcast. This award is given to the team that executes an efficient media plan for the distribution of information about the competition.
During the off-season time, the team visited the Campus Party, just like other expositions in which ExpoShow Auto, Avión in Atlixco, Puebla, Estado de Mexico’s CRIT of Teleton and NI Days of National Instruments stad out.
